It’s easy to become certified when you Skydive with Skydive Maine. All you have to do is complete the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) training program, and you’ll be on your way to mastering the most extreme sport in the Maine!
The accelerated free fall program consists of ground school lessons in Maine, coupled with training jumps. You’ll gain all the knowledge needed to skydive safely. Then, you’ll complete a series of training jumps designed to prepare you to jump alone in Maine. During the first few jumps, you’ll be accompanied by two instructors to guide you through your Skydive Maine experience. Only one instructor is needed for the upper levels of this program, and when you’ve displayed the necessary skills to be able to skydive alone, you’ll be ready for a Skydive Maine solo jump!
